A Star Wars Cake for a Six Year Old

Today's cake is a Star Wars themed cake that I did for a little girl. How fantastic is that?! Two-tiered and adorned with handmade fondant cake toppers. Iced is tasty buttercream I used my trusty airbrush to create an ombre effect to transition from Vader's "dark side" to Leia's side of salvation.

Well I finally did it. I finally got a website together. You can now view a collection of past completed cakes, a list of flavours and a breakdown of prices. Look what I got to work on! I was able to practice several techniques with this Super Mario cake and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Minions! This hot trend doesn't seem be going anywhere anytime soon. I have to say that they are very fun to make so I don't mind at all. 

This is a two-tiered vanilla cake covered in buttercream and fondant appliques. The cake topper is about 5" tall and made of fondant.
