A Star Wars Cake for a Six Year Old

Today's cake is a Star Wars themed cake that I did for a little girl. How fantastic is that?! Two-tiered and adorned with handmade fondant cake toppers. Iced is tasty buttercream I used my trusty airbrush to create an ombre effect to transition from Vader's "dark side" to Leia's side of salvation.

Well I finally did it. I finally got a website together. You can now view a collection of past completed cakes, a list of flavours and a breakdown of prices. Super Mario Cake for a 7yr old

Look what I got to work on! I was able to practice several techniques with this Super Mario cake and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Minion Cake for a 3 yr. old

Minions! This hot trend doesn't seem be going anywhere anytime soon. I have to say that they are very fun to make so I don't mind at all. 

This is a two-tiered vanilla cake covered in buttercream and fondant appliques. The cake topper is about 5" tall and made of fondant.

Two little Minion Cakes for a 7 yr. old

Both of these little guys are made from vanilla cake and filled with buttercream.  Place on a 12" cake board they were the perfect size for a small birthday party. 

A Star Wars cake for a five year old

Look what I got to make! This two-tiered lemon and funfetti cake was made for a young Jedi  who wanted to make sure his special day was full of light sabres. I was most happy to oblige!
